Coast Salish Anthem

(Chief Dan George Prayer Song)is an authentic First Nations song of the Tseilwau-tuth, whose traditional territories we are on. The song is used with permission and was gifted to the Vancouver Bach Choirs by Gordon Dick, a First Nations educator. Gordon worked with our Partitas choir to teach them this song and its important history. This version uses supporting harmonies by Melodie Langevin and Catherine Campolin. Catherine Campolin conducts and Gordon Dick plays drum and sings. Editing by Chris and Charissa Bagan. We reached out to and received permission from several Coast Salish communities to display their logos as part of the visuals of this performance. These are just some of the many First Nations communities in the Lower Mainland on whose unceded lands we live, work, and play.
